Donations to the Alabama State Trooper Association are used to fund life insurance for Alabama State Troopers and to purchase Trooper Teddy Bears for distribution to children who witness or are involved in traumatic events. Teddy Bears are also given as gifts by State Troopers to children who are hospitalized during the Christmas holidays.
